I feel like a Republican all of a sudden. I don't know why I take pleasure in this exactly, but I do:

"Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner is struggling to unload his million-dollar manse located in a posh New York City suburb. And like so many other Americans, he'll probably lose money on it when he does."
Treasury Secretary Geithner can't sell Larchmont home - Jun. 3, 2009

Off to shower. My transitory Republicanism makes me feel dirty!

I am with you pghquest.... I don't buy a house because of "where" is located, I am looking at the price to be right for the material/design of the house.... people are willing to pay that much for the privilege of living in "heresville"... I have a lot of friends like that... they say, they got great schools (and they don't even have kids) or great neighborhood (and don't interact with their neighbors).... its more like name dropping but I couldn't care less...
