I'd vote for her in a heartbeat. She's the reason I voted for McLame. I had an idea for a bumper sticker: Don't blame me, I voted for the old dude and the hot mom.
Sorry, but although most hispanics are somewhat socially conservative they are also repulsed by the Republican party. As long as the Republicans continue to be anti worker/middle class/poor they will continue to lose the hispanic vote by huge margins.
Well, GWB got 47% of the hispanic vote and Viva Bush bumper stickers were everywhere in LA a while ago. As for your second comment, it's just stupid and uneducated. Abortion and gay marriage will be the deciding factor in the coming years for the Hispanics, not some pathetic hispandering that the left engages in.
Bookmark my post and we'll have a gentlemens wager on it. Do some googling on gays in Mexico and machismo. If the left keeps ramming gay marriage down everyones throat (don't go there) the black and hispanic communities will vote conservative in much greater %'s then they do now.
I understand the situation with gays in Mexico, but even there, gays are more accepted by young people than older people, and a couple of Mexican states (including Mexico City) have given legal status to same-sex unions.
Abortion and gay marriage will be the deciding factor in the coming years for the Hispanics, not some pathetic hispandering that the left engages in.
Abortion may continue to be a big deal, but same-sex marriage will not. Looking at the exit polls on Prop. 8 gives me further confidence that I am right about this.

Yep he reeled them in with talk and reminded us why republicans are not looking out for our best interest.... Believe me the GOP has really shot thmselves in the foot... They are now smearing a highly qualified woman from the Bronx in their political gain.. Trust me they won't be getting anywhere that number for a long time.
If the left keeps pushing gay marriage, both the black and hispanic communities will come to the "right" conclusion (See what I did there, huh, huh?)
Seriously, though, the social issues will be will be the deciding factor. Mark my words.
I would have argued the same point in 2000, in fact I often did, but by 2004 the sham of "compassionate conservatism" was blown away by the winds and waters of Katrina. (debating whose actually was responsible isn't going to get you anywhere with African American voters). And, with the election of Barack Hussein Obama, the Republican Party can kiss African American voters good bye for at the very least the next 8 years.
Given that time frame, by the time the Republican Party figures out that it has to rid itself of its most racist faction much less exorcise them, we will have had more than enough time to either legitimize gay and lesbian marital rights or to have rid our communities of their backward opposition to it.
OVCATTO - First of all, if you read what I wrote carefully, you will see that I did not get a straight answer OTHER than they are "racist." What that means is that OTHER answers were quite unclear. While I admit the "racist" answer was quite clear, OTHERS were not.
Secondly, you comments have stated that African-Americans will support whomever supports them....I admit that many liberals genuinely do have much concern for the Black community. However, do you remember the famous saying..."The road to hell is paved with good intentions." How is the left's consistant portrayal of African-Americans as "victims" going to help out that community? I know someone who teaches at an inner-city school in which such beliefs are taught. Do you honestly think that these students are prepared for the outside world? Do you honestly think that if they believe they cannot get ahead, they WILL get ahead?
Third, you say that you are not "fooled" by "racism" that existed in the GOP. I think that you are very "fooled" by the messages sent out by you so-called supporters. They may claim to help the African-American community, but what has 50 years of Democratic rule in the inner city done for these neighborhoods? Yes, many AFrican-American have gotten ahead because of the civil rights era...I am very pleased with the progress of these individuals. However, the core of the lower income African-American community is almost stuck there, at least for my lifetime. Much of this is due to individuals like you being "fooled" by the victimology messages being spit out by the left.
Finally, yes there are some in the GOP that are anti-immigration and displeased with the African-American community. However, they are the EXTREME and not the MAINTSREAM branch of the party. The mainstream party is more hostile to the CONDITIONS in inner city neighborhoods rather than to the people themselves. If African-Americans are so alienated from the GOP because of a few extremists, shouldn't the white population be alienated from the left because of their extremists?
