The price of oil is going up, $68.00 a barrel ... The AAA national average for a gallon of regular gas is now $2.57....Gasoline prices are going up, and that's exactly what Obama wants...Remember when a gallon of gasoline got to four bucks he wasn't upset with that price. He said he was a little concerned how fast it got there, but he wasn't upset at that price. Four bucks a gallon, we have learned is the tipping point where you will willingly buy Go-Kart junk to drive, as opposed to what you would like. And that's of course what Obama wants!!!!!!

"I think that I would have preferred a gradual adjustment. The fact that this is such a shock to American pocketbooks is not a good thing. The last statement in bold is more telling now that Obama's Adminstration has GM under their thumb.
Unfortunately the President will not support an increase in the gas tax. A floating gas tax to keep the pump price of gas at $3.50- 4.00 /gallon has been proposed by some energy economist. This is the price level needed to trigger conservation and product development for energy efficient cars.
$68/barrel is not exactly $150, which it was last summer.
Keep driving that Hummer and complaining, nobody cares
