Why would you assume that non-voters would have voted in favor of keeping homosexuality in the DSM? Obviously non-voters were ambivalent because if they truly cared they would have made the effort to vote. Had they been forced to vote, there's a good chance even they wouldn't know which way they would have voted.
What's telling is that there is no attempt to put it back.
Exactly. They're asserting that it was not just the APA, but that every major medical and psychological association in America, along with every major medical and psychological association in the modern world caved in and has allowed millions of people to live with a mental illness for decades because of American "homosexual activists" back in 1974. I have to admire their ability to suspend reality like that.
I think homosexuality is probably a "variation" of normal. I didn't use to feel this way, but I'm not one to bury my head in the sand and not see what's right in front of me.
With the exception of who they choose to love and have sexual relations with, homosexuals are no different than heterosexuals. Many of us straight people will always struggle with our images of gay sex, and the sort of uncomfortable feeling we get when we see two people of the same gender behaving romantically toward one another, but anybody who is willing to be realistic and see things as they really are, simply cannot deny that homosexuals are as much as part of everyday society as heterosexuals.

Amazing. Because of the non voters there is this gay agenda made up of crazy people running around cross dressing carrying purses and wearing high heels and forcing their twisted morality on our young people causing them to experiment with same sex pairings.

Not in the same manner lobotomies were performed decades ago, and not for the same reasons. They're not icepicking teenagers brains for being "defiant" any longer.
