Truth is- they just hate anyone who doesn't think just like they do.
Truly amazing...the fact that you generalize basically all conservatives. Where were you on September 11, 2001? Oh, my bad, you think that the REPUBLICANS created a conspiracy...never mind.

It doesn't bother me...the fact that you and I disagree totally...but why must you be so insulting and rude? Your statement is a little hypocritical to me...as I've read a fair amount of your posts.

Why bring up Christians? This to me is another attempt to incite us knowing we are opposed to homosexuality. This is the gay agenda showing its ugly head again.

You insult folks that live in these "backwards" states by saying that. Just as gays insult us by their perversion.
Geeez. The topic was clearly stated. Do you think it takes a corporate push to make a change? A simple yes or no and an eloquent reply will suffice. Optional with two hands held high and flourished with limp wristed movements.

But thanks for stopping by. Speaking of showing its ugly head again, can we get you to share with us a copy of that elusive gay agenda? Thank you dahling, you're fabulous. I would love to see a bank bow down to gays. Gives new meaning to down payment.

Gay rights w/marriage will come. The private sector understands that gays are a creative class in all areas and that to attract gays whether it is in computers, business or the arts it is essential to treat everyone with dignity. This is in keeping with the entire thrust of US history. At one time, it was the divine right of kings, since then liberty has been on the march. The history of the US has been one of the expansion of rights. At first, only white males of property could vote, then white males regardless of standing (Jews could not hold public office in MA until after 1824, in NC until after the Civil War). Finally slavery was abolished, (odd to read now the justification of it based on biblical slavery) women were given the right to vote - again some opposed it since it was against certain biblical precepts (Colossians 3:18; Ephesians 5:22-24, Timothy 2:11-15), the armed services became integrated, the civil rights era came and despite protests that since G-d made the different races there should be no inter-racial marriage that came about. Now many Christian churches do recognize gay civil unions and gay Jews in both the Conservative and Reform movements can be rabbis. There is no gay agenda other than the dignity of humans and that is in accordance with American values.

That's what I have been asking . . . Why is it OK to be rude and insulting to republicans/conservatives but no other "group." Many (but not all) people on these boards bend over backwards to be "PC" to all groups but let us conservatives have it with both barrels.

And if they are attempting to convince or give us, the "cluesless " insight don't they realize that this is not a productive way to do it.

I came back to check on this thread because I posed a question and wanted to see if it was answered. I don't see that it was. I'm still dying to see the list of "backward" states and learn the criteria of what makes them so... any takers?

Why would you place a big grin after your statement? Is your post for religious reasons or just hatred for other human beings? Why would you be "fighting hard" to crush someone's happiness?
