G.W.Bush has been ,all of his life, a screw up Daddy or Daddys' rich
friends had to take care of or bail out of trouble time and again.

Bush used booze or dope to get thought the day on a regular basis even
while he was in the White House.

"Some conservatives" should have spoken up sooner, then.

And the answer is no. It's just an attempt to put distance between conservatism and an unpopular president. Success has many fathers while failure is an orphan, as the old saying goes.

GWB was no trailblazer for new conservative ideas. Especailly in the last few monts of his presidency with all the bank bailouts. HOWEVER, he did give us the 2002/3 tax cuts that spurred economic growth for the past 5 years. It's too bad he couldn't have made them permanent.

Ummm...please explain how Bush was a fiscal conservative. Bush was a fiscally liberal NEO-con. True conservatism and neo-conservatism are as different as night and day.

Do you feel equally about pro-peace liberals still sheepishly supporting Obama during his WAR campaign in the Middle East?

Obamatron? Thick-headed? Yeah, those are great ways to guarantee a civilized discussion. I had you on ignore for awhile. Now I remember why.

I do understand and acknowledge that there are neo-cons and there are conservatives. I never said there weren't.

Very true. Notice how McCain has been thrown under the bus as well and labeled "not a real conservative".
