And who better to produce them than politically connected bureaucrats with no manufacturing, marketing and automotive experience running the auto comapanies.
Obama and Congress can do whatever they want. I personally will not buy a new car until the government stops manipulating the market with all the tax credits, subsidies, and huge government loans to GM.
As soon as the Fed quits sending our billions of dollars a year out to countries that mooch off us, I might consider keeping my dollars at home.
Besides ... money to most American corporations these days usually ends up overseas anyway .. or can be found being squandered for no good reason in the stock market.
