Someone correct me but
Doesnt Obama proclaim that N Korea should be allowed nuclear power, (not nuclear weapons), but then argue that the USA should go to solar?
I could be wrong, but it sounds like a big contradiction...

I can see opposition to nuclear weapons. NOBODY should have one.
And I can also see why letting other countries handle their very own energy needs is a good idea.
Its a conservative thing to do.

Environmentalists have our politicians by the balls. It's a HUGE contradiction. The sad part is that our elected politicians have been sold that green energy is the next big thing in jobs creation. I call BS. I have yet to see a logical argument that proves that windmills and solar panels will offset all the manufacturing jobs that are lost every year to foreign competitors. The politics of it all makes me want to puke.

The problem with Nuclear power is that it suffers from NIMBY syndrome. That's one of the main reasons we're not building more.
