He was referring to the hate speech rhetoric initially delivered or not condemned by Sarah Palin and others during the campaign that stirred individuals of this nature into a rage for vengeance.

Such hateful and false rhetoric does not create such murderers, but it gives a justification for them to act. We all knew stuff of this nature would come. Let's only hope our president is spared.

what a sad terrible thing. the killer was not only filled with hate he did this, but so vain he puts a 20 year old picture of himself up on his hate filled web site. what a miserable SOB

like the murderer of dr. tiller in some circles people "will not be sorry" about what he did. these people should be ashamed of their hatred but are far too stupid.

Anyone that defends this ****er can basically join him in the fiery furnace. I'm sure the little peons on Stormfront view him as a hero. I pray I meet one of these characters one day, I really do.....you know how sometimes you just WISH for somebody to rub you the wrong way so you can beat the **** out of them?

Apparently this guy had been on numerous internet forums posting anti-Obama sentiment and questioning his birthplace. I wander if one the forums was City-Data.

I agree. Hero is a word that's over-used these days, in my opinion. But that guard is a hero.

Gee, why do you think that is? Could it have anything to do with extremists violently pushing their own political agendas and causing incidents like the one today and the one on Sunday?

Just like liberals were disappointed when the DC snipers, the 9/11 attacks, and the guy who killed that U.S soldier in Alabama were not committed by rightwing Rush Limbaugh loving White Christians.

There are a dozen possiblities. We'll just have to see if any of them stop commenting.
