You can't? Let me spell it out for you...in that other thread, you said that liberals only think of themselves instead of the country as a whole (that was good for my first laugh of the day), then you asked me how I had been affected by the last 8 years. I told you, all of the examples talked about citizens of this country & the country as a whole...you then came back w/an example that totally was all about me, me, me. Exactly the very thing that you said only liberals care about. Do you get it? Do you want me to repost all the things you said so you can see w/your very own eyes the hypocrisy? God, I'm exhausted. Trying to deconstruct your own hypocrisy just tires me out. In the future, do it yourself.

The "country as a whole" did not suffer any of those things. Those were YOUR examples of YOUR personal suffering. Dont lump me in that that PC BS.

PC BS? LOL, ok, get back to me when you've got mercury poisoning or your children grow 2 heads or you head to some foreign country for a vacation & everyone spits on you because of your government or your emails are intercepted or you talk to a friend from another country & get put on "The List". Lord, you really are quite naive & selfish, aren't ya? But wait, that must make you....a LIBERAL!!!!!

What the hell is wrong with these people?
Why do you hate the Constitution and freedom of expression?

Seems to me you're just intolerant of freedom of expression for people who view the world differently than yourself.

And if these Hollywood types are not credible, as I have been hearing forever, then why do you people hang on their every word? Fear much? Man, we got the frigthened little thought police, sho 'nuff.

And we are arrogant, and he went lightly on us.

Now report me to homeland security for being intolerant.

One thing the wacked out libs do not understand, when the true conservative American citizen realizes that the last breath of freedom is about to be taken away, they will become a revolution that will fight and die if necessary to rid their country of such filth.

I'm tired of being labeled a "liberal" because my views differ from yours!
I'm tired of being labeled a militant homosexual because I believe in marriage equality
I'm tired of being labeled a socialist because I believe in access to affordable medical care
I'm tired of being labeled a communist because of my view that corporate greed is ruining america
When is the labeling, and intolerance from the right going to end???

it's a two way street... there are many conservatives on here that I actually respect even though I disagree with them.. that is totally different to someone spouting out actual racist, homophobic, and intolerant viewpoints, while hiding behind the label of "christian" or "conservative"
Nobody is bashing on you for having a different opinion, but don't pollute the holy conservative water with bigotry and hate, by hiding in it.. because being a bigot/homophobe and a conservative are not one in the same! so lets just get that straight first of all...If you want to sit here like a lunatic and rant on in hopes of "rallying the troops" be my guest, but anyone with any sense will not subscribe to your hijacking of conservative principles...and if they do.. then they're bigots too... lord knows the world is full of them... but please don't insult our intelligence by hiding racism, intolerance in the political wrealm... fiscal responsibility, smaller government, etc have nothing to do with opinions on race, and homosexuality... In fact, the rhetoric divide and pandering forces branded under conservativism cause for people who actually believe in conservative principles to stear clear of it's entire platform because it's been hijacked by the likes of you people, because you want to spend your days ripping apart doctors and women involved in abortion decisions, and what two consenting adults are doing in their bedrooms, as well as anyone with a hint of brown in their skin...
then you wonder why you're losing elections... really??
give it a rest....

One difference, Conservatives dont hide behind the "party of tolerance" moniker that liberals love to bring up. Conservatives do what has to be done to preserve our democracy, Liberals on the other hand only think about what other countries think of us as the most important thing.

Celebrating "intolerance" is not a particularly politic move.

Liberals don't "only think about what other countries think of us".

You continually try to force liberals into tiny pigeonholes of beliefs, policies and actions.

Forcing people, conservatives or liberals, to fit the definitions you have set, rather than recognizing that people just don't fit into these little boxes, is a sort of denial, and even an exclusive behavior. No one fits these definitions. And no one needs to. People, liberals or conservatives or moderates, each define for themselves where they stand politically. What has to be done to preserve our democracy would be starting to respect people enough to listen to them without trying to pigeonhole them. The labeling is just step one in marginalizing a person's views. Label them, discredit them, dismiss them. It should be listen to them, evaluate what you hear based on what they say, not on what you infer, and appreciate that they are bringing a different perspective to the discourse.

Here is what I see:

Liberals think 3% of the population (gays) should be given "Special right" while telling the other 97% of the population to just shut up and accept it.

Respect is earned, not just given away. Labeling people based on what they do rather than what they say is common sense.
Like it or not, In America, "majority rules", at least it used to. Now it seems that every minority group regadless of moral stances should be given preference over the majority. Do you agree?
