Procreation and sexuality have been fairly removed from one another for sometime now.
Plenty of people interested in population reduction, as well. Seems fine when they are trying to sell you a burger and fries or anything else at half-time right? Or when women are trying to have "equal" rights?
Beings loving one another and interacting is very natural. Last time I checked so was sex.
I constantly hear gays, and gay supporters tell us, "being gay is natural, haven't you heard of gay penguins, or gay ducks in nature." It is indeed a compelling argument, if God created gay ducks, gay penguins, and other animals, is it so crazy that he might have created gay humans?
Yes it is. And there are many holes in the argument. Being gay is certainly a choice and very unnatural, whether you believe in evolution (in which only the strongest live), or in creation, is in NOT natural.
In the case of evolution: we should be pre-conditioned not to have gay sex, as it is unproductive (or unreproductive). If we have supposedly evolved, the "gay-gene" would have been killed off, because it serves no use. Gays have no practical use in nature. They cannot reproduce, therefore would become extinct very quickly. The only possible solution if being gay is natural is that it is a genetic mutation, such as a mental illness, which is certainly possible.
In the case of the Bible: Do I really need to go there? Sodom and Gomorah...
Finally, this idea, that God perhaps created gay animals, and if animals are gay, it must be OK and normal for humans, right? If we are using the logic, that because animals without human coaxing might be gay in nature, that humans can and should do that same action, then humans should perhaps eat their young as some animals do that. Perhaps humans should kill the weakest amongst us, as some animals do that. Perhaps humans should hurl their feces at one another, as monkeys do that (and their DNA is just 0.1% different from ours )
The truth is that there is NO evidence that being gay is natural, because it isn't. They never found this "gay gene" because it doesn't exist.
Gay choose to be deviants, and should not be extended the rights of people who choose not to be deviants, such as marriage.
The bible says a lot of stupid things so to quote it is to be a fool. Lev. 11:10 But anything in the seas or the rivers that has not fins and scales, of the swarming creatures in the waters and of the living creatures that are in the waters, is detestable to you. I can quote that slaves need to be obedient, rape is ok in some instances bla bla bla. Garbage in garbage out. As far as being natural, natural is a subjective word. To a gay person being gay is natural, it is not natural for me. When it boils down, WTF does it mater what two guys do in their own home? I don't live my life according to what the bible says, if you want to knock your self out. What nut job group do we follow? Baptist? where its not biblical to drink alcohol or dance? Jehovah's Witnesses where they don't allow celebration of holidays, military service and blood transfusions? Or Catholics that don't allow priests to marry, name the poison you want to make law. Thats why its freedom of and from religion. That is why we have to keep public places free of any picking of any religion. If you want the Ten Commandments on public ground you have to be willing to have Muslim and Satanic displays along side it or your picking one particular religion. If you think freedom of speech only applies to the speech you like you have missed the whole point of freedom. You have to allow the KKK and Neo Nazies to speak no mater how much you agree or dis agree with them or you have undermined the point of freedom. You are free to stand next to them and say why they are dead wrong, but you can't make laws enforcing one particular point of view. Nut job religious fools never seem to get this point.
That they are the group most likely to approve of homosexuality and same-sex marriage is no surprise.
They will at some point grow-up and begin to sort out what makes sense and what does not.
When that day comes, they will join the ranks of older Americans who have no interest in polishing the turd of homosexuality by enshrining man-on-man butt sex with marital legalese.

True they don't fully develop their frontal lobe til mid twenties. Your belief that such an activity is the exclusive domain of male homo-sexuals seems to be one of misinformation, as well. So far I have seen no such shrine. LOL.

The sin of Sodom was not homosexual activity. Sodom was destroyed because the wealthy inhabitants refused to take care of the poor and the sick.
Sexual orientation is not a choice, any more than race or sex are. If it is, then you can make the choice to be attracted to someone who is the same sex as you are.
The only real choice in sexual orientation is homophobia. Animals may be homosexual, but man is the only homophobic species. Have a good day,

People also like to ignore Judges 19 which proves Sodom was not about gays. And honestly, are we really going to base our 21st Century morality on a story where offering up one's virgin daughters to be raped by criminals is viewed as a good thing? What is your opinion on lesbian sex? You seem to have a particular interest in a certain act with a certain gender when gay marriage doesn't specify either one. You may or may not be gay but your infatuation with man-on-man butt sex has to stem from somewhere.
That seems to be their obsession, anal sex between men and use that to justify denying full rights to gays and lesbians. Yet they ignore that over 40% of interviewed heterosexuals admit to practicing anal sex with their opposite sex partners, there goes their arguement that sex is for procreation, since most of the sex that heterosexuals practice is non procreative.
