Good try but honestly the reason people dont eat healthy is because eating crappy food taste better. Thats it. I wish I could eat crap everyday, instead I am stuck eating grilled chicken and fish pretty much everyday. I much rather eat big macs and pizza. People love the taste of crap and have no self control.
Yes, but people have forgotten what real, and fresh, food really tastes like. Try a home grown tomatoes right off the vine. Pickle your own cucumbers, fresh milk from a cow that morning. Free range eggs. That food tastes COMPLETELY different from the weeks old stuff we buy at grocery stores. Having a home garden is a small step to the solution.
It's a lot easier to give up Pizza Hut when you have the ability to get your hands on homemade breads, fresh meat and just picked produce.
I would not be opposed to looking into a "fat tax". The problem is determining the weight. BMI is WAY outdated. Maybe it could be a tax on the disgustingly obese. We could get a obesity czar.
Oh indeed ... An obesity czar would foot the bill nicely ....
We could even take steps toward outlawing spandex on fat folks ... you know, phase it in over a period of months or years.
Or better still, provide an increase in the tax for fat folks that prefer to wear spandex.
I support taxing companies whose products produce obesity. Yet, I doubt Americans possess the intelligence needed to realize that every single food they eat is a imitation of real food. Just goes to show you the virtue's of the American People who prefer cheap and large food as opposed to quality.

Technically, it's not the companies fault. It's really the person's fault for not burning off the fat, and not taking into account as to how many times a week they should eat fattening foods.

Technically?
It's called PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY! I know many people don't know what that means anymore.
If you eat fast food 4 times a week, you can walk/run your ass off, but after 40 you're still going to gain a pound that week

Not unless you take a lot of dietary pills and purge the food up.
