And, unfortunately I believe it will be coming.....I won't be shocked just disappointed once again .
You are honest.
How can i assure you that a UHC works amazingly well? It is frustrating for me because i have used a UHC all my life and now i use the American System and i can see such a huge difference. Why am i trying to convince people? I don't know. Maybe because i absolutely hate seeing good honest Americans being ripped off by the big Insurance Companies. Maybe i feel for every American who worries about their healthcare when there should be absolutely NO NEED. If i didn't have the NHS in the UK i would have to pay a fortune for my medication and Doctors visits in the USA.
I hate watching these slimey "Fat Cats" convincing good American People that this is the best way for them when it Isn't.
America will get a UHC, maybe not in the next few years but soon. When it does happen i want to see how the anti UHC people cope with great affordable healthcare.

How can you assure me??
Read your own post....read all the "would be"s and proclaimations that you make.
Assure me that you know these things will actually be.....tell me where you are getting all your information that this is so.
Have you been hired to design the program?

When you buy a car you ask someone who has actually owned and driven that car for info on it. You Don't ask someone who has never driven one or owned one. Same with a UHC. I can only tell you how it has worked for me as a user. No system is perfect but the present American System is as close to disastrous as any system could be. I know that if the UHC in America is set up similar to other UHC's then there is absolutely NO reason why it should be any different to the tried and tested UHC's. In fact America could take all the Excellant parts of other UHC's and Dump any parts that aren't too good. My Info comes from "owning and driving the car" not from useles propoganda from people who haven't even been anywhere near a UHC.

BHR University Hospitals - Queen's Hospital (http://www.bhrhospitals.nhs.uk/visitingus/newhos1.php - broken link)

Lowestoft and North Suffolk Hospital General Information

Look at these links old_cold and tell me if you think they are what you imagined Govt Hospitals to be like. Read the Testimonials of people who use them.

I do not ask someone that drives a Ford how it might be if I might end up with a Chevy or a Yugo or maybe an Edsel.
I keep telling you most of us are aware our sytem is not good when it comes to costs but it does not require UHC as a solution

No free health care for anyone in the US. Higher price tags for foreigners. No health care provided for illegal aliens. Problem solved.

Oh there you go who could argue with them. I was just shown a article about how the UK is having huge financial problems with its Health System. Maybe some one should let us patients into this amazing news as we have not noticed ANY changes in the crumbling health system. Still geting great health coverage,.
The USA has not even formulated a budget for a health system yet and the CBO are giving a opinion on it....AMAZING!

The CBO is part of the Federal government and if anything would prefer to put a happy face on the numbers.

Congressional Budget Office - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The governement would spend $1 trillion to insure 16 million people . The math simply doesn't add up.
