Neither ABC nor any other media outlet was ever designed to be impartial. That's why the phrase "Fair And Balanced" is the target for so much well-deserved derision. It is pure caca. Media outlets serve only themselves, and present whatever they think they can sell.
No editor, publisher, producer, or manager ever intentionally acted counter to the viewpoint of their audience/customer base for reasons of altruism and lived to tell about it. It's all about money.

The RNC's letter specifically asks for rebuttal time to Obamas plan.
ABC's response to the RNC completely side steps the request and in summary tells them not to worry, we'll make sure it's done objectively...how arrogant.
Does the DNC get rebuttal time for the entire Fox News Channel's programming? Fox News pronounces that they are "Fair and Balanced" every few minutes on their network. Now THAT's arrogance!
