Dear [RNC Chief of Staff] McKay:

I am in receipt of your letter of June 15, 2009 and wanted to respond to a number of false premises you raise regarding our ongoing and upcoming coverage of health care.

ABC v. RNC - Michael Calderone - POLITICO.com

In the end, no one watching, listening to, or reading ABC News will lack for an understanding of all sides of these important questions.

Thank you for your interest.

Kerry Smith
Senior Vice President, ABC News

Thanks for posting this.

But to the fans of the party of no, no & no, it doesn't matter. They've already got bees in their bonnets and the rally cry of the week.

Nice post... The GOP got a little spoiled with the access to the WH which was afforded to them the last 8 years. I like their claim when Rove said that this act by the Obama Administration is unprecedented. Oh really...

Ho hum.
The RNC's letter specifically asks for rebuttal time to Obamas plan.
ABC's response to the RNC completely side steps the request and in summary tells them not to worry, we'll make sure it's done objectively...how arrogant.

Media outlets such as ABC have shown time and time again that they cannot be trusted to ask the right questions of Obama.
ABC now lacks the credibility to conduct a fair discussion and the only way to be redeemed would be to grant the RNC time.

This response from ABC is a humorous CYA piece that only a fool would believe.

Anyway, Obama should keep his big fat government entitled nose out of the healthcare industry and go tend the garden with Michelle.

Hell, they don't even bother to hide the favorable bias towards the man or his agenda anymore.

Lol, the RNC chief of staff is pretending to assume that the ABC coverage is going to be one-sided -- hence the BS "rebuttal" time demand. A fallacy from the get-go.

Even though the RNC spokesman surely knew better, he had to log a protest and had to frame it in these words, in order to fool you sheepies. And it worked, at least on you.
