Truthfully I really don't give a damn about none of that crap, what I see now is the distruction from AIDs and the drug probelm destroying this country. How does the fall of the Berlin wall affect you now as oppose to the once crack addicted child who was left to fend for himself and is about to rob/murder you to feed his habit I also see the racial/proverty divide become greater and in the last 8 years. I have also lost friends to a war that was started by politicans who profited off of their blood get richer. At this point I really don't want to hear abstract theories of communism, socialism or any other bs isms! I want to see this country take care of it's own and become what it was meant to be .....The GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD
Sorry about your AIDs and drug problems but clearly people have a choice with both. Sadly government programs like head start have weakened the parent child relationship whereas families interact less and truly no longer teach personal responsibility.
Obama and Bush our most recent presidents also sadly indulged in Cocaine and Alcohol! Not such good role models either. As far as I know, reagan was not a crack head or a drunk. He had morals and principals! He also loved his wife dearly and set a prime example for our nation and was a superb leader. Reagan also did not start any wars and was very conservative with foreign policy. He improved our military to the point it weakened and led to the demise of the former communist Soviet Union.
Reagan was our Greatest Freedom Fighter since Teddy Roosevelt and General Douglas MacArthur. He truly was not self serving, as we see in today's president and had a most inspirational and wonderful vision for our nation!
if you want to look at someone for the mess created these days, you shall have to look further back than that. try looking back to the facist days of fdr before thinking about Reagan.

AIDs and drugs is not JUST my probelm it is a world curse that could have been curtailed during his administration, granted he may have been what you have mentioned. I do not agree with you regarding the weaking of the Soviet Union, they did that to themselves trying to compete in an arms race with a capitialist country, in otherwords regardless who was in the White house at the time the results would have been the same

Ronnie selling weapons to an enemy, which he conveniently forgot about, didn't help. And how the hell do you figure he silenced Qadaffi? Unfamiliar with PanAm 103?
Somebody needs to make a documentary on how he was not what the sugar-coated, history-revised version cracks him up to be. Michael Moore would do a fine job.
RWNJ response in advance:
Probably it would NOT be fine enough since Moore"s Fahrenheit 911 did not result in the defeat of President Bush in 2004.

Was Reagan's invasion of Grenada supposed to be one of his finest moments in history?
Ronald Reagan was an ACTOR who read the words written for him by his handlers and who followed their direction just as he followed the scripts in his movies. Many of these same handlers were also the handlers for George W. Bush. These guys have been pulling the strings for 16 years our country's recent history and the only goals they had was for their own power and profit. If people don't understand that then it is no wonder we are in trouble.

He was a GOVERNOR of the most populous state after he was an ACTOR. Some people "forget" about that fact.

And the Uptighty-Righties who continually whine about the 'Hollywood elite' and their political agenda conveniently forget that's EXACTLY what Ronnie was. He was STILL an actor. Forget about those facts did ya?
