Myopic? Thats been your game on this thread. You can't see past your partisan nose.
You need a deprogrammer. Why would liberals not living in SC care about this governor exactly? And before you say, "Palin," that governor is only cared about because she ran and will be running for federal office. With Sanford, he is like every other governor who MIGHT run, but isn't even on the national radar yet. And his behavior will ensure that he never will be.

Now expalin to me how Republicans on this thread and on the other thread about Sanford share my view and the views of other liberals in this situation if this is such a partisan issue.

I haven't defended him,but I have been amused at the hypocrisy as illustrated in my original post below.
Here is a little refresher for you from page 2 of this thread.

This is totally irrelevant. He's not a Democrat, and no Democratic governor was off by him/herself on the Appalachian Trail this weekend, w/o the knowledge of the Lt. Gov. You are busy defending the indefensible by bringing up this "what if?" garbage.

"I cannot take lightly that his staff has not had communication with him for more than four days, and that no one, including his own family, knows his whereabouts," said Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer.

This is your assumption, and then "Comical." is your own response to your own assumption. Echo much in there?

what kind of dumbass goes hiking for 4 days without telling anyone....well yeah i know there are plenty but when you are in charge of running a state, hiking= screwing a staff member in the hotel and she/him locked him with handcuffs and he couldn't get out for 3 days.

i mean really people..if you husband/wife/boyfriend/girlfriend goes away for 4 days without notice and says he/she went hiking would you believe it
