says who?
my housepayment is less than what my friends pay for rent...
i got my loan and housepayment because I make enough money to qualify
my friends don't...

what's the problem here?
seems your platform is to sustain class status... so that "certain" people are forced to be at the mercy of real estate investors... the rich need the poor.. and the poor need the rich... but policies of keeping the poor poor or making them poorer.. and making the rich richer is not any way to sustain an economy or society...

You might want to actually educate yourself as to the history of the whole Fannie/Freddie flailex. He was in the thick of it well before 2006.

the problem is that your friend has crappy credit. that's their fault.

actually she doesn't.. she just does not make enough to qualify for a loan for a house like the one she lives in and rents... because they do not factor in your income when qualifying you for a lease....

I'm well aware of it all thanks...
my point is... it's absurd and ridiculous to sit here and make him the fall guy for it all... which is what many of you wish to do... I believe that blame should go to all who have dirty hands.. whether they knew about it or not.. they were in a position of responsibility.. and that does in fact include barney frank....
don't misunderstand me...

I agree that there is blame to go around. Its Fwank who insists none of this was his fault. The fact remains that he was and is a big part of the problem.
