Snuck in under the covers of "war".. almost $8 billion approved for the non-proven pandemic swine flu.

"Obama gets billions for ‘pandemic’ Swine Flu" by F. William Engdahl. FSO Editorial 06/25/2009

snippet:
"In the United States, the Obama Administration has strong-armed the US Congress to appropriate 300% more money for Swine Flu ‘preparedness’ than Congress planned. Responding to lobbying by the Obama administration, the US Congress has approved an eye-popping $7.65 billion for the non-proven pandemic influenza.

Curiously enough, the money was included in a $106 billion supplemental appropriation bill for funding the military wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The war on pig flu now seems to rank alongside the Ware on Terror the war on Iraqis and Afghanis as US policy priority"

Non proven from the scientists, not the WHO declaration.
They never found the source. The source was very similar to other lab specimens found in a database.
Some very odd stories circulating and it's all being played as non-threatening mild flu.

Provide a link or two for that.

Here's where I first read about it. I'm sorry I could not find the exact post but the above links have the details.

Now the CDC just decided it wasn't lab created but didn't give any scientific data to back that conclusion. That's where questions arise regarding the CDC conclusion as this scientist has a 39 year career as a respected scientist with hundreds of published papers.

Even if it were generated in the lab, it has been confirmed as a novel (new) flu virus. It's apparently sweeping Australia at the moment, as it is winter down under.

That third link of yours is to a forum; it looks just like this one. That doesn't constitute scientific evidence to me.

You are right about the third link but that forum has links to data just like this forum. As I said I could not find the original post with the link in that forum. It would be like coming here to C-D and looking for a post from January but you couldn't remember the title.

My opinion is that the WHO should have declared pandemic months ago.

The odd part is that this pandemic is being played down as "mild" yet funding got put into a war funding bill ? Not many people would catch it.

As the article states..there are other avenues to get the funding. I just think this got through under the radar and not what Congress originally planned and with little or no debate or discussion.
