A movie about an average gay couple living in suburbia, spending their days going to work and eating dinner, mowing the lawn on the weekends and occasionally taking a vaction to the countryside would be dull dull dull. No one would want to watch that.
we have plenty of 1/2 brains and no brains here apparently...
it might do well in the theatres. but if i was going to watch a comedy. i would not watch this guy. not family friendly.
even as an adult film its silly. movies are garbage really.

And if this movie is going to influence people's views on homosexuals then we are in more trouble then I thought as a society.
Did you see any of his clips when he had the mohawk & he was talking to two fashion critics & they were completely being swayed by what he had to say? It was too funny.

Nah, I haven't seen much of Bruno. It'll be interesting to see what kind of success the movie has. If I had to make a bet, I would bet that it won't do well. I just think there's a really limited audience for that kind of thing. We'll see.

You underestimate people's want to laugh at gay men.

Exactly. "Bruno" is for heterosexual audiences, not for gay audiences. You feed the caricatures and stereotypes, and the ignorant masses come running to laugh at the gays.
As previously mentioned ....... the truly gut busting
stereotype confirming sequined caricature feeds
can be witnessed yearly on Market st.
Where the ignorant masses come to applaud.
