The healthcare field makes many "cocktails"...especially in the Emergency Room, which are mixtures of several drugs, just like in the tabloid headline...the Prilosec was probably added to the other drugs to help with stomach upset..that is all. Any time a patient comes in with acute symptoms, the drug cocktails are often used to combat all of the symptoms, quickly.

I would say that headline is bogus information because many of those drugs are for the same thing, different names, or different brands. I cannot image a doc prescribing both Zoloft and Paxil. Demerol and Dilaudid are forms of morphine...I think this tabloid is playing with our heads.

Imagine it. I've seen many instances where doctors have prescribed two or three antidepressants for one patient. That said, the information is from a tabloid not considered reliable source.
