You did see the Topic the other day linking an article bashing Bush for golfing and praising Obama for it. I see the contrary, I have never witnessed a more critized President than Bush; admittingly some of it deserve same as Obama, but the media takes it pretty light on the New Champion of the Left.

The fact remains that he has not loss much steam in any poll despite being opposed and attacked on EVERYTHING including when he grabs a burger.
The fake economy we had was because of too much government regulation (ala Federal Reserve and Fannie/Freddie), but I digress...

The numbers are steadily upwards on disapproval and steadily downwards on approval. About a 5-10% change. The low disapproval were "let's wait and see what he does within first 100 days" kind of people. Since Obama was a very different person and his seductive idealogical speeches were great at luring bots, it kept some people open minded until a month after inauguration.

Uh-huh. Rasmussen is a right leaning poll?

Keep watching the trend lines.

Nobody is saying that Obama did not inherit a recession, war and other problems (isn't the first..won;t be the last). It is the way for example he "crammed" his spending and "pay-back" bills through the Congress (with help from the "loons") increased the debt beyond anything that any president has ever done, and the ideology behind his 'huge govt" beliefs that is pissing off the American people. CNN is biased for Obama has always been and skews it's polls by asking very ambiguous questions, and asks questions to a majority of Obama fans. Bull-crap if you ask me.

the neo fascist folks dont think we got a president problem they think we got a public problem and that the public is confused and needs correction. see em on CDF all the time trying to clear up "confusion". that is what you call folks that constantly think they need to fix others, if necessary with force neo fascists.

I found these numbers from the OP's link particularly illuminating:

"Most Americans approve of how President Obama's handled the situation. And 74 percent think the U.S. government should not directly intervene in the post-election crisis, with one out of four feeling that Washington should openly support the demonstrators who are protesting the election results."

So, only 25% think that there should be open support.

More importantly "Even though nearly eight in ten consider Iran a serious or moderate threat, the poll suggests that a vast majority of Americans, 82 percent, don't think the government should take military action against Iran."

Now, while I agree that this is good news for the President, I don't for a minute believe that he is 'untouchable' - if, for example, he can't come up with a good health care plan, those numbers are going to fall, fast and hard.

The difference is that the criticism of Obama began before he even took office. People were claiming the market went down when he talked, etc..Bush wasn't bashed at Obama's pace until after his second term began. People were totally behind him after 9/11 despite the fact that he ignored the warnings.

It is...LOL!!..

A trend line can change on a dime but where we stand today is what matters. Remember McPalin's trend line after Palin was selected as VP..Doesn't mean much today huh.

61% approval is amazing when 40% of the voters say they consider themselves conservative.
