The World Health Organization has carried out the first ever analysis of the world's health systems. Using five performance indicators to measure health systems in 191 member states, it finds that France provides the best overall health care followed among major countries by Italy, Spain, Oman, Austria and Japan. (US ranks #37)
So now can they pull of UHC and still have the best health care system in the world.
Who wants the government in the health care business, forcing everyone into the same health care system?!
Be a man. Take stock in your own health and either work for a company that offers health care coverage or purchase it yourself privately. Or, if you so choose, go without it...But don't advocate forcing everyone into some kind of socialist unamerican health care experiment.

That's wierd because the WHO has been analyzing the healthcare systems of the world for years. Some of the stuff I read on this forum is a bunch of lies.

How can it be the best when there are no insurance companies making billions in profits?
France has health insurance BTW. It's government owned health insurance and they pay for doctor's medical school. Plus there are little to no medical malpractice lawsuits allowed. There is also private insurance there too for the 30% that is not covered by the goverment. It's is not like England or Canada's system where the government owns the hospitals and doctors are employees.

The public plan is clearly designed to pave the way for UHC by pushing private companies out.
