Actually, in the most recent polls Obama has a 61% approval rating.
I think most people recognize the horrific mess he inherited from the former president and still think he's doing quite a wonderful job both domestically and internationally.
Sorry, bud. Your ideology failed. Time for a new one. For those of us educated professionals who work in the international community, he is FAR from a failure.
It's not my ideology that's failing, it's his polices that are. As for the International Professionals they are the reason that the world is in the shape it is. As for something new your old ideas have been tried all over the world and failed every time
Let me explain it to you educated pros one more time. Socialism and Communism doesn't work. Millions of people have already died to prove that point. If you try common sense instead of ivory tower theories you could see this for yourself. Governments are all corrupt and extremely inefficient when they try to run everything, it doesn't work. People starve and usually have to be controlled for the government to keep power.
Your Idea of elitiist rule; it will fail just like all the other times it was tried, your arrogance will doom it like all the other times.
Btw Appeasement of the muslim extremist won't work. Look up a man named Chamberlin. He was also an educated professional who worked in the international community just like you.
But was it too much to expect he wouldnt make it worse, overnight?
It was probably too much to expect that things wouldn't get worse -- some people think that's because the damage that Bush et al did to the country won't be subject to an easy fix, others think it's solely because of Obama's policies. Probably a mixture of both, but the things that took place that led to this mess took place before Jan. 20th, 2009.
Stan, I'm still wondering what significance you think the governor's current approval rating has. Do you think that the people of Alaska are waking up?
I do. When I go down to the cafe for morning coffee, the talk isn't much in her favor.
You may disagree with his politics, but Al Gore has quite a bit of intellect on Palin (you can tell by how each processes concepts)
Biden is definitely far more intelligent than Palin; he just doesn't know when to stop talking. But, then, I don't think anyone's ever heard Palin end a sentence, so perhaps it's a wash on the verbal diarhea front.
If these are your standards of intelligence there is no reason to argue. You do know that the king of global warming thinks he invented the internet. Also he is so worried about carbon signatures that it takes 30,000 dollars a years to heat and cool his house, he drives a stretch limo and a full sized SUV, a speed boat and a luxury yacht. That makes him either a real idiot in my book or a major scam artist and his global warming speeches are pure BS.
As for Biden the only thing that keeps him from saying something stupid is his foot in his mouth from the last thing.

How do you know that what you're saying is factual? What is your source?
I'll believe it when I see it. For now, he's doing fine. No one expects him to remain super-popular forever. That's why it's likely we'll see a health care bill passed into law in the very near future. Now's the time to do it, because he'll probably never be as popular as he is currently.
If they don't get that one done before Christmas we may get to wait for 2011 for it. See, the members of the HOuse don't want to take too many chances with one like that one very far into 2010 since that is their election year. Pass it in December of 2009 and people may forget it by November of 2010 but wait until too late in 2010 and they will remember. It is not the popularity, only, that is getting these things passed so soon. It is the hurry that must be done to avoid the wrath of the forgetfu voters.
BTW, do you think the constituents of those 8 Republicans will be allowed to forget how they voted the other day? I am sure that their voters will be reminded every day from now to election day 2010, especially during their primaries.
At Rasmussen they found that yesterday Obama was in the hole -2. Their way of comparing is novel in that they take the people who strongly approve and compare that number to those who strongly disapprove and he was in -2 this morning. Now before you go off half-cocked let me tell you that they admit that people who kind of approve added to those who strongly approve still outnumber the same kind of disapproval. However, he is at the lowest point he has been and if some of that has to do with his Crap and tax policy I bet tomorrow he will be lower than -2. I can't wait to see if that happens.
Bright side = 2010 election and massive loss for Democrats in Congress
Brighter side = 2012 election and Obama is a one term President just like James Earl Carter.
Reality and time do wonders to unmask hype and mystery.
Reality? Is that a brand name? I mean, the brand of crystal ball you're using?
