Arizona gets more bizzare as everyday goes by.Who in their right mind would go into a bar /nightclub/restuarant that allows it's patrons to pack?
News flash, AZ is not the only state that has this law, there are 39 other states that have the same law on the books. I guess you will only feel safe in 10 states.............
What is the purpose of carrying a gun into a bar? Assuming you remain sober, do you need it to take care of a violent drunk? Answer: no. And if it's a sober guy you get into a fight with, perhaps it is because you really deserve a whupping. You're not going to be beat to death, most likely, so your response would be? To take your whupping like a man, or to shoot someone who isn't armed?
I abhor guns and I think there's a lot of dumb people out there who should not be allowed to use them. This is there right though.
I would like harsher penalties on gun deaths, even in self defense people should shoot to maim.
Harsher penalties on gun deaths and unprovoked shootings. If you own a gun and some kid steals it and shoots people (like Columbine or Mt Morris) you get held responsible as well as the kid. If you can't control your gun and your irresponsibility results in the death/injury of someone else, this is a right you don't deserve.
Guns and gun rights just seem like a quick fix to bigger problems. Lets look at other nations that have lots of firearms, and find out why they aren't shooting each other up and see if we can take an idea from that playbook.
