Actually, the Republican Party lost the election. So I believe that "Don't let the door. . ." applies to them.

If you really believed in the Republican policies now or even several years ago you could never accept the Democrat policies. They are just too contradictory. Maybe if you were a very liberal Republican and now are an extremely conservative Democrat. But even then I doubt it.

Sorry but it is obvious what you are doing, duh!
People change. The world evolves. If it was that obvious you could have stopped hundreds of thousands of people from leaving you last November.

Because to a lot of them I did. And now I have a better understanding of what you were dealing with all this time.

It's scary when even moderate Republicans (or former Republicans, as the case may be) are able to acknowledge this.
It seems to me that the conservative right is turning into a hate group.
I don't want to, like, oppress them or anything... but it seems they advocate hate.

LMFAO! Because Bush--who had been in office for EIGHT YEARS--WAS a fascist and a totalitarian. Sent thousands of America's youth to their deaths in a phony war; shredded the Constitution; tortured prisoners; nearly destroyed the economy and the environment. Yep, pretty clear, kid.

The right wing has been calling Obama these absurd names since last year. They're still screaming it because--like children--they're mad because Obama didn't fix everything immediately. Pathetic.

Wake up, pal. There are REASONS that the Republican Party is now considered a joke by the MAJORITY of Americans.

I don't advocate hate. I respect Democrats right to be wrong. I recognize that we are humans, each with his or her own unique contribution to society. That said, quit trying to control everything and give me back my money! I get sick of paying tens of thousands in taxes so that some Phd can study the mating habits of the albino fruit fly and the impact it has on wheat prices in Algeria. Defense, roads, national parks...those are things taxes should pay for.

I knew some were hateful like this, but I'm shocked at how many of them and that its even coming from some that I would have never thought.

You realize that the majority of Americans still identify themselves as "conservative"? When the GOP works out its image problem, you lose.

Yes, because no Republican EVER asked for "pork." And because, really, money wasted on animal research is the very foundation of the nation's economic collapse. Everybody knows that, right?

"Give me back my money." The Republican mantra.
