Yes, and if Michelle Obama was posing in the exact same picture, you'd be the first one yelling "treason!!!".

Your logic escapes me. For someone who approved of Sarah Palin's distasteful use of the flag, why should that matter to you?

I would imagine they don't have much of a life of their own.., no one is perfect, we could have a thread on every human being on this earth; but I say, "WHY"...

Whatever we are both way off topic and some moderator will come and slap us both around.
I wonder about the date of that picture. Somehow she looks much younger than she does now and I wonder if it wasn't taken back when she was in college or near that time. Of course, nobody knows it is her for sure because of photo shop either.

i have read some of this thread and seen people talking about Palin getting herself in from of the media off and on. It seems to me that they put her there if they can but then I am one of those who thinks she has been mistreated by them, anyway.

I haven't read all of this thread but I also suggested that quite a way back. This is a whole posed picture and even the background is just scenery inside.

Also I didn't like the reference to the American Legion about Flag Etiquette. I don't like the Legion. In about 1960 some vets tried to get me to join and we found out, for some reason, all those who served from August of 1954 to August 1957 were not qualified. Guess what month I went into the Army and what month I got out. Yeah, they admitted someone had screwed up but I never gave them the time of day after that.

Not true at all. I would be the first and I don't dislike that lady for anything but being the head of Barack's organization Public Allies for three years after he left them to become a politician. If I didn't manage to be first I would be very near first.

The picture is from her interview with the magazine Runner's World, August 2009.
