The fact that Republicans haven't figured out that they're paying for these people's health care already is stunning!
Now the "moochers" are being forced to pay their own damn share and Republicans are bitching?!

I sat down at my local cigar shop the other day surrounded by wingers. The shop Mgr told me he was tired of deadbeats going to the emergency rooms for free healthcare. He said he paid for his family to go to the doc-in-a-box clinics when he gets sick since the cigar shop didn't provide him healthcare and he didn't buy it himself. I asked he where he and his family would go if he had a catastrophic car accident and rang up a 300K medical bill?? Or the fact that 30% of lifetime medical expenses are incurred in the few years before you die of old age when you are not working. How would he pay for that then?
As a liberal, I think this is a stupid idea. Why you ask? Because if the Democrats weren't so spineless, they'd push through a single-payer national health system. Then everyone would be covered and there'd be no need for fines. Instead, they're taking a convoluted mess and making it messier. Way to go guys! As much as I hate the Republicans, they're at least willing to fight for what they want.

Baby steps. ...What do you think the fine is about? The Government recovering some of the premiums these deadbeats will not shell out voluntarily.
It's all money. Whether you call it a fine, or forced premiums, or the Gvt just decides to pay for it via increased taxes.
