I'll opt to be bold here and state for the record that I believe that everyone has missed the message here. Ms. Palin, judging from her past 'pattern of behavior ' is no quitter nor is she weak in the knee when the going gets tough.
I believe I read meaning in between the words and lines of that rambling statement.

What you say is true and will become even more so in the future. Resume will mean nothing, American Idol type appeal will mean everything. Charisma and style will win over substance everytime. Sad but true.
