Running of troll thread ideas are we?

That's okay. In VT, us secessionists are just slowly and quietly building up the support for secession. Besides, we tend to be pretty quiet anyways in VT. Ever hear of "Silent Cal"?

yeah, I've heard of him. went to his birthplace last week. he was the last good president we had. I read some of the new laws they approved in VT in the burlington free press. I can't believe what some vermonters put up with.

pay attention, some reasons(probably) texas is in the news constantly is because

1. its texas a big state
2.they went public with it
3.there govenor supports it
4.an ex president is from that state
VT surprisingly isn't as liberal as many think, but you have to live here to know that. It's mostly flatlanders who are waaaaay to the left in Burlington, Brattleboro, etc. I know there's a secession movement in Northern Maine, that part of Maine is rather conservative compared to Southern Maine and the leftist outsiders in Southern Maine have done a lot of damage to N. Maine's economy. I'd love to see one of us secede.

I think some liberals kind of like the idea of a liberal Switzerland of North America to vacation in when conservatives have power in the U.S. LOL

the people I hung out with in VT weren't really liberal. but I spent most of my time in the lake champlain area and the northeast kingdom. the outsiders in maine you speak of, are you talking about the somalians in lewiston that are bankrupting the welfare system in the state?

Yeah, I wish he were still president...

Culturally in VT, we've never been into confrontations, violence, etc., so, basically, most VT'ers sat around when the liberals (hippies and such starting in the 60's) invaded the state and took it over. I think if we could go back in time a lot of VT'ers would have done things differently knowing what they know now to put a stop to it. The Northeast Kingdom is really the last part of the state not completely invaded, because the outsiders weren't tolerated so much there...
