"(CBS) President Bush will leave office as one of the most unpopular departing presidents in history, according to a new CBS News/New York Times poll showing Mr. Bush's final approval rating at 22 percent.
Seventy-three percent say they disapprove of the way Mr. Bush has handled his job as president over the last eight years.
Mr. Bush's final approval rating is the lowest final rating for an outgoing president since Gallup began asking about presidential approval more than 70 years ago."
And those are not after a few years of this President and his horrible policies. George Bush will become more and more attractive as this goes on.
As what goes on? The economic meltdown from the Bush administration? Did you think a turnaround would happen in 6 months? Seriously? It's been known for as many months that the clean-up will take years. And that things will get worse before they get better.

I wonder how many people from Oklahoma and the surrounding area were polled by CBS and the al Times of New York. I would guess exactly zero. What would you guess?

If only the economy were all of it? This cap and trade fiasco, socialilzed healthcare disaster, and the total mishandling of foreign policy are just a few of the nighmares we will endure during this presidency.

It won't be long Obama will be stating he will need at least three terms to fix Bushs mess.
And the bobble heads will nod accordingly.

Better savor the words - we won't be hearing them for awhile.

Really? And how much training do you have in climate change policy, economics, or in the administration of health care? How much experience do you have in foreign policy? Yet you feel qualified to pass judgment on the Obama administration's attempts to do what they were elected--democratically, I might add--to do? Much of your language--"socialized," "fiasco," "disaster," and "mishandling" indicates to me that your talking points are not your own. Because the only people who are qualified to determine, for example, whether a healthcare program will be a "disaster" are people who have some training in economics and health care.
It most likely did not equal the thunderous applause that was evident in Washington when Bush flew off after Obama's inauguration.
