For economic knowledge...

Economy.com vs Sanrene

Hmm, tough call, lol.

If you are truly interested, do some research into why economy.com lists those items as stimulative.

Ridiculous.

Not quite.
Would you not agree that a third grader has an enormous amount of time to turn that 'D' around? And really, who did that 'D' harm? Are there any long term ramifications of said 'D'?
No.

Now, lets talk about the economy......does the Obama team have an enormous amount of time to turn the economy around? Does the economy hurt the livelihoods of people? How about globally? What are the long term ramifications of a craphole American economy?

Ridiculous comparison is right.

I will explain the comparison in more detail, as I see its needed.

Child with a D, life has barely begun.
3rd grade is age 8, about 10% of a person's life.
It would be extremely premature to call this child a failure for life.

Stimulus at 10%.
Extremely premature to call this a failure.

Make sense now?

using your somewhat inappropriate analogy, the child gets a D because he doesn't understand the material, not because he wasn't given enough time to take the test.

In this case, the stimulus is receiving a failing grade from blind teachers.
Folks who won't bother to learn about it, are the ones deeming it a failure.

Part of the problem with large government packages like the stimulus is exactly that - we're months into it and only 10% has been spent.

Soo....is $800,000,000,000 not enough for the 2010 democrat's slush fund?

True, but that is only a surprise to people that weren't paying attention.

For example, it was known that April was the earliest projects would start.
But shockingly (), people were already complaining about the effectiveness of the stimulus before that time.

Hey Zippy, thirteen dollars per week PER TAXPAYER. Comprendes?

My trash bill is FIVE DOLLARS per week. Go tell all those Waste Management workers that they don't really have jobs.

Stuck on stupid. Fark me to tears. I'm tellin' ya.
