Uh oh looks like some inhouse fighting in the DNC party. WOW attacking the moderate Dems. The Left liberal loons are so power hungry they are attacking everyone who should stand in their way.. LOVE it..............

President Obama, strategizing yesterday with congressional leaders about health-care reform, complained that liberal advocacy groups ought to drop their attacks on Democratic lawmakers and devote their energy to promoting passage of comprehensive legislation.

In a pre-holiday call with half a dozen top House and Senate Democrats, Obama expressed his concern over advertisements and online campaigns targeting moderate Democrats, whom they criticize for not being fully devoted to "true" health-care reform.

"We shouldn't be focusing resources on each other," Obama opined in the call, according to three sources who participated in or listened to the conversation. "We ought to be focused on winning this debate."

You know if I wanted to see people fighting like children I would've stayed on the videogame forum were they were kids.

I thought when I found this site people would be a little more mature but guess I was wrong. Politics and religion forums are the worst.

Well President Obama had better get used to it. We have 60 Democrats in the Senate and a big majority in the house and we expect certain legislation passed. And we get uncomfortable when we hear things like former Democrats lobbying on behalf of big pharma and big insurance. If a few of them want to be assinine and not vote for healthcare and other issues, fine - we will pass it with less than 60- but we expect them not to stand with the Republicans and try to obstruct things.

Please tell us:
  • Why do you favor government run health care, when the rest of the world that has it, hates it. Why would you want to give up the choices that private health care offers; like life vs. death (if you are so unfortunate to face that choice, and the government doesn't think your case is "worth it"?
  • What is it about Cap and Trade that you think is good? Why would you want your energy bills to skyrocket, and everything else along with it.? Do you not realize that this will mean "death" to many businesses, and that any industy that uses energy to produce a product will necessarily have to pass the added cost on to the consumer in higher prices?

Also in that bill, the last minute 300 page amendment from Dear Mr. Waxman, is the requirement that California's building code be adopted as the Federal standard. And also the requirement that before you can sell your home, a Federal Inspector inspects your home for energy efficiency, and you must upgrade to meat the latest standards. Sounds like doom for the real estate business, and also big losses in housing value. Who will be able to sell their home? Who will be able to buy a home, since anyone who can actually afford to upgrade must add that to the homes selling price. Homes simply will not sell.
As if there weren't enough things dragging down the housing market! This is just what we need.
And these two things only scratch the surface of what is wrong with "Cap 'n Tax".

"Cap and Trade" is based on a false premise: "Global Warming", which doesn't exist.

Glad to hear it. The more the Dems squabble, the less damage they can do.
