Why don't you educate yourself on the subject?

I find it fascinating that people were willing to vote for a woman who believes in "end-days" and "the Rapture," but find it impossible to believe in the dangers of climate change, which are actually backed by scientific fact.
Not the least bit worried of dying now or 300,000 years from now. I am more concerned with the hole the libs in DC are digging for us. Now that is something to get excited about. That scares the &^$% out of me.

BTW I have spent a lot of time looking at both sides. Since both sides have science on their sides and both sides have credible scientist arguing opposite views on Global Warming I decided to follow the money and the political impact. Seeing that there is much more political gain to be made and definitely more people with their hands out on the pro Global Warming side I choose to lean towards the conclusion that it is BS.

The report, released Friday by the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency, found that in 2007 China’s emissions were 14 percent higher than those of the United States. In the previous year’s annual study, the researchers found for the first time that China had become the world’s leading emitter, with carbon emissions 7 percent higher by volume than the United States in 2006.

Raise of hands, anyone want to wait and follow China's lead because suddenly we aren't the worst?

I'd worry more about China and India than the US as they are soon if not already outpacing us.

Some country has to lead the way. I can't think of anyplace better than the USA.

Then he should be in favor of nuclear energy which we are way behind the rest of the western worold. France for example gets about 70% of their elctricity thru nuclear. If not its just rethoric to get it passed. Also then why would we not drill for oil but import more and more which does nothing but send dollars out of the country to support others in the race by financing them.

Curious - how many people have done a lot of research on how the Cap & Trade bill will affect the US economy and still support the bill?
