Ummm... yeah. In fact, under our current system if you make more you pay more. That's pretty much what the term "progressive marginal income tax" means.

I have no problem with people who earn more paying more. In fact, I think they should pay more. I only have a problem with the fact that taxes are so low on the top 1% of earners. I'd like to see an increase in income taxes for people earning over $2.5m to a 95% marginal rate.

1 piece?

No more legislation for the next 1000 years, unless it is to get rid of some previous piece of legislation.

Health care.

I'm 58 years old and have been unemployed for a year now. Even if I could afford it no one would insure me as at my age everything is pre-existing

Until I got sick and had to go into the hospital several years ago, I had no debt except for a very small mortage...now...major debt all incurred when I had health ins. between the co-pays and what they wouldn't cover I'm now way way in the toilet.

I hope no one ever has to get sick to realize just how bad our health care system is.

Health care INSURANCE reform, with a really viable, non-profit option. . . then if the private companies want to "compete", they will have to rein in the astronomical executive salaries, and stop denying doctor mandated care!

I'd like him to put people to work cleaning up the country, using FDR's model -- house them, feed them, but make them work for it.

Gosh so many...can we make a combo? To put the U.S. dollar back on the gold standard, reinstate the Glass-Steagall act, and eliminate the Federal Reserve....................(sigh)
