The Escambia County Sheriff's Office said the men were driving a red full-size van when they were seen leaving the home of Byrd and Melanie Billings after the Escambia County couple were found shot to death in the bedroom of their home in Beulah, just west of Pensacola near the Alabama border.

Sgt. Ted Roy, a sheriff's office spokesman, said the men may have been involved in the slayings.

The couple were the parents of 16 children — 12 adopted.

The cops have arrested three suspects in their brutal murders.

Sheriff says "more arrests to come". Also said that the murder was done with "military precision".

The parents were wealthy. The suspects new that, plus they also knew they had 14 disabled children in the home.

Apparently the the parents were not armed and could not defend themselves.

Did they have a lot of money in the house? Was the house burglarized after the murders?
This case reminds me a lot of the murders that the book 'In Cold Blood' was based on. In those murders the family was supposed to be 'rich' and were rumored to have a safe with a lot of cash in it. The rumors about the cash were false and the entire family was murdered for no reason.
I hope they get the scum that did this. Society will be a better place without them.

Though I do hope the perpetrators of this murder are caught, as the grandmother of a developmentally delayed child, my first thought goes to these kids and what will happen to them.

Surpised no one is discussing this.

But thanks to the great police work by officials in Escambia County, FL, there have been seven arrests in this tragic murder.
