The typical japanese work does not egt eqaul pay and certainly not in real terms of cost of living. I am sure the chinese thik we are way over paid .So I see no point.AIG is not in bankrupsy like GM and chrysler.Thehey were given loans as were the banks many of which have paid the loans back now.If you want to get upset look at the stimulus maney being given out free to specail interest groups they don't have to payabck and isn't a stimulus at all to the econmy.Look at the Fannie and freddie bounus given out when the feds competely took those over.Besdies these are bonmuses like the alst one agred to before the governamnt goit involved undere contracts. They would ahvbe to go bankrupt to get out from under them.

Well you certainly wouldn't want the best and brightest to run a company that is in this much trouble. Let them go to the European banks where they can pay market rates and not have people with pitchforks at their door when bonus time rolls around. Makes a lot of sense.

If you don't think that Japanese CEOs perform as well as American CEOs, at a 40-1 rate, think Toyota vs GM.
Don't like the Japanese? Then think of the European and Canadian CEOs who get 20 times less - think 20 million vs 1 million.
