What is the irony? Really? Do you assume I am drunk all the time or what?
I am not sure what your point is. You think it is fun to make fun of my screen name?

I did not make up any story and for you to say that is just too sad because I always liked you and your posts. Too bad.
And by the way miss English teacher, English is my second language.

Why did you ask? Now there'll be 60 posts about people who either know or saw someone buying a wedding cake with food stamps.

Personally I am still stuck on this part: I mean what are the odds of the 3 people in front of you ALL using food stamps? And how good is your vision that you can spot the food stamp card 2 and 3 baskets in front of yours? I need to go get my eyes checked.
I live in MEMPHIS TN!! Are you really surprised?
And yes, you do need to get your eyes checked if you can't see an object 6 feet in front of you.

Seriously. I stopped reading when you claimed your family eats on $300 per month. I don't believe a single word of the OP.

300 is alot? What are you talking about? How much do you spend on food!!

A tiny little card being presented by a customer two people ahead of you in line? You're one nosy SOB if you strain your eyes to see if it's a debit card, credit card, gift card, or EBT card.

You know what. You don't know me so please don't call me an SOB.

I can see this from further away then 6 feet . It is really recognizable.

You might be able to tell if it's an EBT card if you know what they look like but I don't know how they could tell if it's food stamps. I still think the OP should apply for them herself; if the people she works with can get them she should be able to as well.

No, I can't. I am married and we have 2 incomes. Even though we have tons of bills, student loan and childcare expenses, and not much left over for food. But it will be ok. In a year or so when most of our expenses have been eliminated. We are working hard everyday to get there.
