MAYOR BLOOMBERG FUMES OVER HILLARY CLINTON'S $260M FLIP-FLOP - New York Post
A furious Mayor Bloomberg yesterday blasted Hillary Rodham Clinton's State Department for a policy change that will cost the city $260 million in taxes as "patently unfair to New Yorkers and Americans."

"This is just absolutely wrong," Bloomberg said, in response to an exclusive Post front-page report detailing the move.

"Without this action, the US taxpayer stood to lose hundreds of millions of dollars that would have had to be paid to foreign governments for properties," said Ian Kelly, a State Department spokesman

Might be bad for NY but bad for Americans?

I don't think so and believe Clinton took the position appropriate to her position both times.

The politicians up in Albany sell out New York City on a regular basis. It's not fair to accuse Senator Clinton of such actions.

If it's going to save the country $$$ she took the right stance. As SoS, her allegiance must be to the country as a whole, not an individual state.

She sold out NY when she told us that she was not interested in running, that she only wanted to be our Senator..then she ran. Not that I mind. Not a big fan of hers anyway. Just the same old politics as usual.
