This is not the case. Both Republicans and Democrats are not any better than the other, and if you actually think so, then you all need to evaluate your lives more in depth.

Again, for those of you who represent either side, none of you is any better than the other, and both sides are just as hypocritical, and damaging for this nation. My sympathies to those who are not affiliated with either side. It must suck to see so many sheep crying "No, my side is better!!!", or "Your party is what's wrong with America!!!". Believe me, I long for the day when those with their party blinders on are able to wake up, and see what damage both these parties have caused to this nation.
You are my new best friend.
The only real difference between the parties is how much money the lobbyist are sticking in there pockets.

Wow, sounds like me.

Still waiting for someone, either from one of the two parties or as an independent, to step up and voice my beliefs.

I want a cantidate that stands for the following:

Reduce government spending. We don't even have to cut many programs if we could simply get more efficient. Our government wastes so much it's sickening.

Stay out of our personal life. You are gay and want to marry? Who cares.... Smoke a joint after work in the privacy of your own home? Who cares.... Athiest, Jew, Hindu, Christian? Your choice... Work out regularly and eat healthy or eat McDonalds three times a day and sit on the couch?Who cares..... want to drink your life away? Spend your money on gambling? Cigarettes? Porn? Beanie Babies? Who cares, your choice, just don't ask us to bail you out or subsidise your lifestyle and don't try and force it on anyone else.

Fix our justice system so that a low level drug dealer or abuser doesn't do 40 years while child molestors get a slap on the wrist. Spots in our prisons need to be reserved for violent criminals first and foremost.

No more tax breaks for corporations that outsource most of their jobs overseas.

Demand a true level playing field for American products over seas. Why are we forced to pay high tarrifs while many countries pay little or none to ship their good here?

Strongly consider reducing our military presence abroad. However, this comes with the caveat that if you kill Americans we will find you and we will kill you. You commit piracy against an American vessel we will find you and we will kill you. No "empathizing" no "hearts and flowers" routine people like Pelosi want.

Secure the border. No amnesty. Prosecute those that employ them. No more benifits for illegals. All are welcome to come here but you must do it the right way. Pay taxes, obey our laws, attempt to learn the language, teach us about your culture but respect ours as well.

No welfare for anyone who is able bodied. Prosecute welfare fraud to the fullest extent.

Well I voted for Obama this time around. If it doesn't work out, I'll either vote third party or stay at home come the next election.

We'll probably never see a third party have a legitimate shot at getting elected though.
