Look at me!!! I'm so wonderful and great!!! I can't suck my own d&%@ enough!
I know, let's just take all the sick people who can't afford heath care out somewhere and have them put to death. It's the only compassionate conservative thing to do. Freaking slackers. You shouldn't have chose to get cancer if you couldn't afford it. It's all about personal responsibility. Pull yourself up by those bootstraps, you bunch of whiners.
And let's not stop there. Let's go after those with health care insurance who get screwed over by their providers. If we let them die, it'll help maximize profits and that's the only thing that's really matters.
Come on, cons and repugs! Let's hear it!!!
U.S.A! U.S.A! U.S.A! U.S.A!
Don't let those commies, socialist, and the anti-christ himself, Barrack HUSSEIN Obama, win.
Pass a bill that'll allow the execution of anyone making under 20-30k a year or something. Get that cancer out of our society. Show'em what you're made of
But the tax on the rich mentioned by the AP (our Izvestia) is also supported by 58% of Americans, fyi.
Other polls say something else.

do you earn $1 million a year and pay 45% of your income in taxes? If so I would fire your accountant because most wealthy people after they are done with their deductions & tax loopholes don't even come close to paying the top tax rate! Perhaps except for Lottery winners.
Remember Leona Hemsley who famously said only the little people pay taxes?!
This was my point on the other Tax the Rich thread. As long as the loopholes remain, the taxes won't bring in what they are intended to from the over $350K + bracket. Once they realize this shortfall, things will turn to those who are already in the AMT zone. It ain't gonna be pretty.

Ever hear of rationing? That's what will happen. Someone will decide that an 80 year old with a devastating sickness does not justify the cost to keep him alive.
How do you know that if a person loses their job, they lose their health insurance? My wife and I were jobless for a bit while we moved and still had private health insurance. In fact, we had it while we were working because the business plans offered were garbage, bloated and overly expensive. So please explain to me how the government is going to make a better choice for me than myself and what right do you or the government have to tell me that I should have health insurance if I choose not to? The more people start telling me what I must do to appeal to their opinion, the more I think they need a bit of of hard smack on their nose to mind their own damn business.
WE, the government, have the right to tell you you have to have health insurance so WE DON'T HAVE TO PAY FOR YOU WHEN YOU GET SICK OR INJURED!!!!!!!!
YOU have the bloody C H O I C E as to which insurance you want...UHC or private!!

I'm on SS and I just found out that my medical insurance will go from $98 a month to $302 per month and this is on a small fixed income. Not to mention that utilities will go up 300 to 400 dollars a month, not to mention gas prices of $5-$7 per gallon or that grocies will double. I'll be living in the red. Deep D## D##!!
Don't forget that you won't be receiving any COLA for SS in 2010 or 2011.
