We have a few days left to over turn this Bill.
Do we really want to bankrupt the USA????
Also do you want to wait 6-12 months to see a doctor
if your in pain????
Our current system is near perfect, so why try to fix
something that is not broken!

"Near perfect"? What have YOU been smoking? There are about 40 million unisured legal residents/citizens of the US. You can get rejected for insurance if you have a pre-existing condition. Many employers don't provide insurance to any employees, some only to full time employees (and make it difficult to be a ft employee), etc. There would be no interest in fixing the system if it worked well for the vast majority.
I have news for you Wellness. The US has been broke for a very long time and what Obama is proposing is not Universal healthcare ala Canada but Universal coverage. That is a big difference which will runs us over $1 trillion over the course of 10 years. If we can blow $1 trillion on Iraq in less time for a outcome that we surely don't know we can afford to make sure every American is covered with health insurance. I can predict that once Public option becomes a choice you will see health insurance premiums nosedive as Insurance companies scramble to compete with the Feds on coverage. There will not be 6 to 12 months to see a doctor. Does Medicare & Medicaid operate this way? No they don't so stop flailing the hysteria being spoon fed to you.

First of all you showed up at the ER with a sprained wrist. People should not show up at the ER with minor stuff. I would not have made you wait for 4 hours- I would have told you to leave and go see a doctor. And you will wait about the same amount of time at most city hospitals over here too on a weekend.
Secondly, you went to a medical clinic when it was closed. Not every clinic is open all the time but it is funny that I can find at least a dozen in Windsor (a small city) that are open for walk ins on both Sat and Sunday.
