COLUMBIA, S.C. -- South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford shed his fiscal conservatism on
several taxpayer-funded international trips, including a South American jaunt that included
time with his mistress, choosing expensive first-class or business-class seats while his
aides sat in coach.

I dont wanna hear 1 democrat complain about this because its ok to do this. All the democrats that were defending the ssa conference that cost us 700k

So dont be upset over this.

Sanford needed to learn to relax just like the ssa did

now lets watch the double standard.

( I dont approve of this but not a single democrat on this board has room to complain)

I guess he could make three non-refundable reservatiions for every cross-country flight like Nancy Pelosi does, just to ensure she gets a flight that turns out to be the most convenient. And do you think Nancy flies coach?

Oh, but Democrats don't have to live up to standards. I forgot.

This raises the question, which Governor was/is the bigger fraud, Sarah Palin or Mark Sanford?

It's a tough call, and Sanford is making progress with each new report.

"Thanks but No Thanks" Sarah or ""I don't want the Stimulus money" Sanford?

Sanford has clearly shown himself to be a hypocrite in multiple ways, and needs to resign. Failure to resign is just expanding his problem.

You can stick a fork in him, his career is (appropriately) over.

On one overseas trip, the state appears to have spent more than $12,000 for the GOP governor’s business-class tickets for a September 2007 trade mission to China, while his aides flew in economy class for airfares as low as $1,900.

Pretty funny coming from a guy who condemned others for spending too much on travel....LOL.

Sanford flies high on taxpayers' dime - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/politico/20090717/pl_politico/25073 - broken link)

Sounds like an all around hypocrite...
