Larry Summers cites Google search as progress - Eamon Javers - POLITICO.com

Quote:
Of all the statistics pouring into the White House every day, top economic adviser Larry Summers highlighted one Friday to make his case that the economic free-fall has ended.

The number of people searching for the term “economic depression” on Google is down to normal levels, Summers said.
Now, doesn't this inspire a world of confidence in the three stooges (obama, geitnersummers)?

Is that fuzzy math or Voodoo economics... or something else?

Searches are also down for "Michael Jackson Death."

Does that mean he is rising from the grave?

Uh, Larry? We know the White House is spending money as though the apocalypse is nigh, but that wasn’t the question. The question was whether any of that has helped, or whether it has been a big bust and done nothing to stimulate the economy at all. Has it improved unemployment, resulted in economic growth, or done anything at all?
Hmmm. He must be Googling “desperation”.

Update: HA reader Paul notes that Google searches for “how to find a job” are up 50% over normal. What other trends can we see?
Obama incompetent - That shows a recent spike.
stimulus failure - Another recent spike!
federal deficit - That’s gone up lately, too.
economic disaster - Up considerably over normal.
Obama support - For some reason, this is way down.
It is amateur hour in the WH. Were this people really, truly the best of the best?

Larry made a mess of his time at Harvard until they forced him out......and I see he's still making a fool of himself. I should add that Larry is not a total dolt. He often says things I agreee with. His problem is that he then says things that make no sense. He has terrible "social skills" as anyone from Harvard can tell you after having interactions with him.

Gee, where you been? They've been saying that since the beginning of the year, including the CBO.
