you got your answer. and lots of others. happy reading!
You are avoiding answering something you cannot. I will ask again just one question again and please directly answer it.
A lot of musical artists are on this global warming band wagon, yet they still go on tour. Touring is a major polluter. When you think of their planes, all the tractor trailers and then the thousands of vehicles from the fans. Seriously, why don't these artists stop touring and only make CD's. This would make a dramatic difference.

i agree that some musicians and others should be careful not to be too hypocritical. and i agree with you that it seems like a good idea for some of them to not be as wasteful and seek ways to do so.
Quite a funny spin on a thread in OT--how much and which way!
But, in all seriousness, I don't think using less paper and less water will hurt us, and might help elsewhere.
Even if folks don't believe in global warming, we do have an emerging water crisis. We certainly did in NM, and occasionally, a gun got pulled out of a waistband to prove it.

I know what you mean. However, that would have to come at a price, as would everything else: namely, fans would not be able to see these bands in person. I guess they'd have to just rely on publicity photos, they last longer. Y'know, that kinda reminds me of Pee-wee Herman's phrase: "Why don'tcha take a picture, it'll last longer!"
wow. you guys are really penetrating the depths of the issues, now.
in case this link gets lost in the dialogue, i thought i might share it again:

lots of info that can help clarify lots of questions on this thread. who knows, you might even get something there on the global environmental repercussions of touring musicians!
So, Silas777, here's a good one for us all. I went to the Belfast Co-op today and used their public washroom. They have controlled toilet paper by not having a roll, but sheets that flip out one at a time! Nice going for the Co-op!
And perhaps whats her name would endorse the product! Just remembered her name, Ms. Crow!
