yeah its not like this hasn't been done by every president...other presidents have had delays when they didnt have to deal with 2 wars and a economy in the toilet.

With him being a wise black man and having the full support of the US Congress that one little base closing shouldn't be a problem. Especially with the serious moral implications involved. Same with don't ask don't tell, gay marriage and the continuing illegal war on the innocents.

Yeah, but you forget Obama isn't just another president.
He's a wise black one with the full support of the US Congress and the electorate.
You would think this would be a golden opportunity to prove to the world that we are a better America now.
To shut down the George Bush torture chamber would be the ultimate proof of that.
And a good slap in the face good bye to the old A.B.O. (America Before Obama)
Tell me you wouldn't savor that for years to come.
remember that 1.4% we talked about in the other thread....Obama has broken 1.4% of 500 promises made before the elections....

And to think about it not one of those promise he has kept were worth diddly squat either.
He has broken 100% of the most important promises on the most important and key issues. What a record.
I have looked at his promises and can see that he did lied to begin with.
Just like his running of this country, he has no clue in the world.
Like one Senator said, Obama could not run a Saturday morning bake sale correctly as he would have them broke before noon!

Yes, they over rated the fool and now are backing off making up excuses as he screws everything up.
I thought he was so darn smart and had a team of experts on his side.
He was the total package to these people, a man who could change the world.

Ahh, but see, that's where you're wrong. He is just another president. If you could get over your obsession with his ethnicity you would see that. Obama is 100% human being and therefore no different, no different at all than any previous president of this country. What, Bush didn't make any campaign promises he didn't keep? Has any president ever been held to the incredible standards of campaign fidelity as Obama? Because of his color????? : smack:
