President Obama has invited a small group of fiscally-conscious House Democrats --
known as the "Blue Dogs" -- to the White House Tuesday morning in an effort to win
their support for his controversial health care reform package, FOX News has learned.

"We're just not there yet," said Rep. Baron Hill, D-Ind., one of the lawmakers invited
to the session with Mr. Obama. "We're getting there."

Now we know why over 90% of the stimulus money hasn't been released.

Obama is holding it back to bribe these guys to go along with various items on his agenda.

Toe the line -- and you get big juicy porky projects in your district.

Vote your conscience or your constituent's views -- and you get squat.

Wow, that's a new one from the Right? The conspiracies being ginned up is becoming more and more absurd.

Then you explain why Obama hasn't released hardly any of the stimulus money.

I thought it was to stimulate the economy.

What, is he waiting for it to get worse first?

Well, the TAX CUT that you got from ARRA shows up in your paycheck. Assuming you are still drawing a paycheck in say November, some part of ARRA will have to be held back until then. Then there are the food stamps and unemployment benefit increases. Those get paid out over time as well. And funds for infrastructure projects tend to be paid out as work is performed. Maybe your problem is that you don't actually understand how any of this works...

so this fool wants something, has no clue what it is, then insures everyone that no matter what the language of the bill is, he won't approve it.. RealClearPolitics - Video - Obama "Not Familiar" With Key Provision In Health Care Bill

I mean seriously, how dumb can you be? I knew he was going to be a puppet, but I didn't think it would be this obvious. He has no clue what is going on and simply gets on stages and huffs up the lemmings. Then the same lemmings listen to bloggers for their news and continue their daily ignorant lives. Amazing ignorance there.

Yeah, the dum dums at CNN don't know as much as you either.

"Nearly five months after President Obama signed the $787 billion stimulus bill, a still-worsening economy has many wondering if stimulus is a bunch of baloney.
In February, Obama promised that funds would be paid out quickly and save or create 750,000 jobs by early August.
Further, the boost to the economy would keep the unemployment rate from surpassing 8%, according to a January study by Obama administration economists Christina Romer and Jared Bernstein. Without it, the study said, unemployment could rise to 9% in 2010.
With August quickly approaching, roughly $75 billion, or 10% of stimulus funds, have been paid out, and the unemployment rate has already risen to 9.5%." Stimulus: White House tells critics not to judge yet - Jul. 6, 2009

Boy are you smart. You know more than everybody.

"....... $499 billion is for stimulus projects, of which $157.8 billion has been made available and $56.3 billion has been spent." Stimulus: White House tells critics not to judge yet - Jul. 6, 2009

They seem to understand the process of how it gets paid out after work is done. The great majority of the money for projects (over 2/3) just hasn't been made available for projects to start apparently. That's the part that eludes you.

Not "fiscally conscious", more corrctly "Insurance Company owned".

The vote Healthcare, like the Bankruptcy Bill of 2006, will showcase just how many Democrats are owned by Corporate America.
