I hate politicians. why didn't he just say, "I want a government health care option, and I am going to raise taxes to pay for it." freaking man up and call it like it is.

His blue pill and red pill comment seemed a bit odd, about using the lower cost pill if it did the same thing.
I didn't realize this was a hot debate topic in health reform, in fact I haven't heard it mentioned at all. I took a look at my own health plan, and if I don't use the generic I am reimbursed a lower % of the cost.
Seems we already had the blue and red pill issue under control.
My overall observation though is that he isn't doing a good job of identifying a specific series of problems that folks would generally agree about, and a summary of his proposed solutions to these specific problems.
