When a major broadcast network tells the president that frumpy songster Susan Boyle takes precedence over his desire to commandeer a prime-time hour for a press conference, and another network says it has no interest at all in carrying it, you know the honeymoon is over.
Obama is slipping in the polls, the opposition party is lambasting his healthcare program, and many in Obama's own party are having second thoughts about the cost of the socialist healthcare program. Obama hurriedly called a press conference last Friday for a Wednesday 9 pm prime time press conference,....only to be told "no thank your" by both Fox and NBC.
In an attempt to stop the political hemorrhaging, Obama then moved his press conference to accomodate NBC. One can suppose that NBC reporters will not be called on at the next reporters' new conference. One can also suppose that there will be more "healthcare infomercials" and more paid political spots on TV touting the magnificience of obamacare.
Obama won the election but the campaigning continues. When will it ever stop? Personally, I'm tired of seeing his face every place I look. Next we'll be seeing posters of him on all public buildings and busy intersections, just like Saddam and Hitler.
I do think he's been over-exposed and enjoys the limelight overmuch. I am also weary of being preached at by someone much younger than I am with far less relevant work experience.
All that aside, his goals, on the surface, are lofty and while I am concerned by some of them and wary of some already implemented, the jury is still out overall! Ask me again in six months!

The snake oil salesman shtick is getting old. How many informercials, TV adds, and news conferences do we have to witness before this boondoggle is put to rest?
BO has reached the tipping point. It's all down hill from here. Over exposed himself....that ego of his will be his downfall. I for one am a happy camper this clown is going to be seen for what he is. A pompous fraud.

Hey,...Obama has already bought major interest in a couple of automobile manufacturers and some banks,....he'll probably buy a few newspapers and TV stations before it's over. Government owned media outlets will insure him a place to sell his snake oil.

Old BO must be really itching for a ciggy now that his "health care" plan is crashing and burning. Can't you just imagine how wiggy he's going to get....can't smoke, the flavor-aid drinkers starting to wake up, married to that she-male be-otch when he'd rather be in a limo with a feller and some blow getting a blow. And, as a topper, that pesky birth certificate issue is getting ground. Should be a fun thing to watch. We just may see him check into a "hospital" for .....what do the Kennedy's always call it? Oh, right-0, EXHAUSTION (sp?)
Oh, and what happened to that smarmy little mustache he was trying to grow while in Egypt? That kept me laughing for days. He needs to take some of Me-chelles testosterone shots!
