It is still very early in the term and all this will merely be dust in the wind come 2012. Even if healthcare goes through as planned now, it will probably seem like a pretty good gig till about 2017-2020 . I don't think he is ready to go down in flames, but if he continues to operate like he is now, yes he probably will bite it hard.

It's a good thing...Maybe people will finally understand reality that both parties are self destructing and taking the country with them. Neither are a healthy alternative for our country any longer. Time for real change, and a third party alternative....

You've got it. There is nothing of the sort as far as checks and balances go. It is a big obtrusive one dimensional Government and it is out to control all of us.
Um, I really think everyone is over reacting about that cop thing. If you're going to use that as a basis of a presidents popularity or ability to do his job, that's pretty sad.
Offending unions and police officers and their families? That's a pretty tight group. Calling them stupid then having to "apologize" makes him look even more of an ideologue than some of us already knew he was. His half apology was the best you can get from a severe narcissist.
